This policy explains what personal data Plotifys collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.

It applies to plotifys.com, any Plotifys mobile application, and any related service we operate.

The single most important thing to understand: when you send an enquiry about a property, your name and contact details are passed to the person who listed that property. Section 5 explains exactly what is shared and what happens next.

1. Who we are

Plotifys is operated by PLOTIFYS, registered in Pakistan under registration number [INSERT], with its registered office at Plotifys, Main GT Road, Gujranwala, Punjab 52250, Pakistan.

2. Information we collect

2a. Information you give us

Account details: name, email address, phone number, password, account type (user, agent or agency).

Profile details for Agents and Agencies: business name, office address, coverage areas, photograph, professional description.

Listing content: property details, photographs, floor plans, videos, prices and any contact details you include.

Enquiry content: the message you send and the contact details you provide with it.

Payment information for Paid Services: billing name, address and transaction reference. We do not store full card numbers. Card data is handled by our payment processor.

Support correspondence: emails, messages and call notes when you contact us.

Saved searches and alert preferences.

2b. Information collected automatically

Device and browser type, operating system, and screen size.

IP address and approximate location derived from it.

Pages viewed, listings viewed, searches run, filters applied, and time spent.

Referring website and exit pages.

Cookie and similar identifiers, as described in section 6.

2c. Information from third parties

Where you sign in using a third party account, we receive the profile fields that service shares with us.

Analytics and advertising partners may provide aggregated audience data.

Payment processors confirm transaction status.

3. How we use your information

To create and operate your account.

To publish, review and moderate Listings.

To route Enquiries between Users and Listers.

To process payments for Paid Services and issue receipts.

To send saved search alerts and service notifications you have opted into.

To provide customer support and resolve disputes.

To detect, investigate and prevent fraud, spam, scraping and abuse.

To measure and improve the Platform, including analysing which listings and features perform well.

To send marketing communications where you have consented, which you can withdraw at any time.

To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from competent authorities.

4. Legal basis

We process personal data where it is necessary to provide our services, manage accounts, publish listings, route enquiries, process payments and provide support. We may also process data with your consent for marketing and non-essential cookies, for our legitimate interests such as fraud prevention, platform security, moderation and service improvement, and where required to comply with applicable legal, tax, regulatory or court obligations.

5. Enquiry data and what agents receive

When you submit an Enquiry on a Listing, we share the following with the Lister of that property: your name, your phone number, your email address, the message you wrote, and the Listing you enquired about.

We share this so the Lister can respond to you. There is no way to enquire without sharing it.

The Lister becomes an independent controller of that data. They are contractually required under our Terms of Use to use it only to respond to your Enquiry, and not to add you to any marketing list, bulk SMS campaign or messaging broadcast without your separate consent.

We enforce that obligation where breaches are reported, and we suspend accounts that misuse Enquiry data. We cannot, however, retrieve data once it has been shared, and we are not responsible for a Lister’s independent handling of it.

If a Lister contacts you for anything other than your Enquiry, report it to [INSERT EMAIL] with the Listing URL and we will investigate.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and saved searches, measure how the Platform is used, and where you consent, to support advertising.

Categories used:

Strictly necessary: sign in, security, load balancing, fraud prevention. These cannot be switched off.

Functional: language, currency, area unit preference, recently viewed listings.

Analytics: aggregated usage measurement, including GSC , GTM and Google Analytics 4 Advertising: where enabled, used to measure and target campaigns.

You can manage non-essential cookies through the consent banner or in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent parts of the Platform from working.

7. Call recordings

Where you place or receive a call through a telephone number provided by the Platform, that call may be recorded, as set out in section 9 of our Terms of Use.

Recordings are used for quality assurance, verification, fraud prevention, training and dispute resolution. They are retained for 6 months and are accessible only to authorised personnel, or where disclosure is required by law.

8. Who we share your information with

Listers, for Enquiries you send, as described in section 5.

Service providers who operate the Platform on our behalf: hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery, analytics, customer support tooling and payment processing. These providers act on our instructions.

Professional advisers, including lawyers and accountants, where necessary.

Law enforcement, regulators or courts, where we are required to disclose by law or where disclosure is necessary to investigate fraud or protect the safety of any person.

A buyer or successor, in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of business assets.

We do not sell your personal data.

9. Data retention

Account data: retained while your account is active, and for 1 month after closure, to handle disputes and meet legal obligations.

Listings: retained while live, and archived for 1 year after expiry or removal.

Enquiry records: retained for 3 months.

Call recordings: retained for 6 months.

Payment and tax records: retained for the period required by Pakistani tax law.

Analytics data: retained in aggregated form.

When a retention period ends, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

10. Data security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and restricted staff access on a need to know basis.

No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for keeping your password confidential.

If a data breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and any relevant authority as required by applicable law.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable Pakistani law, you may:

Access the personal data we hold about you.

Correct inaccurate or incomplete data. Most account and listing data can be corrected directly in your account.

Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to any legal retention obligation.

Withdraw consent to marketing at any time, using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

Object to or restrict certain processing.

Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, contact plotifyss@gmail.com. We will respond within 7 days. We may need to verify your identity first.

Note that deleting your account does not automatically delete data already shared with a Lister through an Enquiry. Contact that Lister directly.

12. Children

The Platform is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact plotifyss@gmail.com and we will delete it.

13. Third party links

The Platform contains links to third party websites, including developer and bank websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before providing data to them.

14. International transfers

Some of our service providers operate outside Pakistan, which means your data may be stored or processed abroad. Where this happens we take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The “last updated” date above will change and, where the change is material, we will notify registered users by email or through the Platform.
